Worship Leaders - Prepares, selects, and leads theologically sound congregational hymns, songs, and chorus on corporate Sunday AM and PM worship services, using hymnals and/or other media. Bulletin creator as needed, as well as pianist/keyboardist.
Little Praiser Leader & Helpers - Prepares bi-weekly lesson teaching music basics, standard hymns/songs, and scripture memory for children 4 years old - 5th grade. Goal of encouraging participation in corporate worship service including familiarity and understanding.
Pianists/Keyboardists/instrumentalists - Provides instrumental accompaniment for hymns, special songs, instrumentals at worship services.
Audio Techs - Operates the sound system (microphones, CD/plug-ins, etc.) during worship services, including power up/down. Occasionally, presence may be needed for rehearsals or other services. Maintains/stores audio equipment as needed.
Video/Powerpoint Techs - Creates and prepares video announcements, lyrics and other visual media as needed for presentation screen use. Sets up and controls visual screen info. displayed in worship services, including powering up/tearing down. Maintains/stores video equipment as needed.
Childrens Church Leader - Prepares a lesson, gathers materials for a lesson each/every other Sunday during 11:00 am worship, for children ages 3 - 3rd grade. Recruits additional workers to fill in if not teaching personally each time.
Nursery Coordinator - Ensures nursery workers are scheduled and available as needed.
Usher Coordinator - Ensures nursery workers are scheduled and available as needed.
Greater Coordinator - Enlists greeters to welcome worshippers as they enter for Sunday morning worship each week. Greeters pass out bulletins/any other materials needed, and get names and contact info from newcomers to share with outreach directors and pastor.
Security Coordinator- Works with other church leadership to secure building duringmeetings, enlisting other volunteers as needed.
Bulletin Creator - Collects info each week from pastor, hymn leaders, committees, and church organizations to create, print, and copy the weekly printed church bulletin. Have bulletins folded and placed before Sunday School each Sunday morning.
Outdoor Sign Maintenance Lead - Updates sighn message as needed based on upcoming church events, or as requested by paster or deacons. Cleans sign surfaces/components as needed.
Sanctuary Flowers Coordinator - Enusres seasonal fresh or silk flower arrangements is in place for each Sunday. Small budget for ordering arrangements for special worship occasions.
Sunday School & VBS Roles
SUNDAY SCHOOL DIRECTOR & ASSISTANT - Keeps accurate records of SS attendance and weekly contacts. Hands off record books before class and collects after class. Corrdinates ordering of literature with Secretary. Encourages team and members to reach out and invite. Assistant helps Director and manages records when Director is absent.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS & TEACHER ASSISTANTS - Teaches SS class weekly, arriving on-time and with lesson prayerfully studied/prepared (literature provided). Retains a concern and desire for salvation for ALL memebers of the class. Regularly attend worship services, recognizing that the church and SS are inseparable. Coordinates with assistant teacher to teach class when absence necessary. Maintains and collects contact info for class members. Reaches out when absent and to prospective members and visitors regularly to grow class (exception: adult SS classes might elect a classroom member for the duty).

VBS DIRECTORS - Works with pastor and church leadership to coordinate an evangelistic summer event for children.
Ministries & Missions Roles
YOUTH DIRECTOR/MINISTER - Develops a program that will lead students to a deeper relationship with God, organizes suitable activities for youth throughout the year. Takes an active role in VBS and Sunday School. Involves parents as vital partners in ministry and recruits a large team of volunteer leaders.
YOUTH COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Meets quarterly with youth minister (or designated youth leader) to plan a youth activities. Assists youth minister as needed with youth ministry operations including meetings, retreats, and field trips as well as helping with games and delivery of lessons.
HALLELUJAH BUNCH COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Plans social gathering/outings/activities geared for Senior church family, using budgeted funds.
COLLEGE & CAREER DIRECTOR - Encourages young adults in their walk with the Lord, keeping communications with young adults so that they know what is going on in the church. Facilitates fellowship opportunities and helps young adults involved in the totality of church life.
MEMORIAL FLOWERS COORDINATOR - When appropriate, orders funeral flower arrangementsto be sent on behalf of the church when there is a death in the immediate family of a church member.
BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE MEMEBERS - NOTE: When there is a death in the local immediate family of a church member, Lime Branch offers a meal (currently catered) for the family the day of the funeral. This is managed by our Bereavement Committee. Contaacts church family member and makes sure this is their wishes, and request headcount expected for the meal. Contacts caterer with date, time, and number of guests expected. Prepares the Activity Building to accept and serve the food (utensils, ice in cups, make coffee, etc.). Remains to host and clean up after family leaves.
WMU DIRECTOR - Leads women in prayer and scripture at regular monthly meetings (currently 3rd Tuesday of month). Discusses with group a mission focus for each month.
BROTHERHOOD DIRECTOR - Organizes monthly men's ministry meeting (meal plus study or speaker) to create and strengthen men of our church. Coordinates with Trustees and plans projects to assist the church with maintenance/upkeep, such as prior to anual Homecoming.
TEAMKID LEADERS - Prepares, gathers materials, and presents scripture-based lesson each week (currently Wed nights) based on age of children attending
